The Lady Lovibond is an English Sailboat name. This boat is also known with the abbreviated form “Luvibond“.
This was a ghost ship that appears in the waters of the county of Kent (England) every 50 years. According to legend, Captain Simon Peel ignored the belief that embarking a woman brings bad luck, and took with him his wife to celebrate his recent marriage.
During his voyage, his first officer, who was also in love with the same young woman, led the ship to a sandbank known to cause multiple shipwrecks and the entire crew perished in the accident.
