Fujian is a Chinese aircraft carrier name.

First aircraft carrier built outside the US and a pioneer in the use of a CATOBAR (Integrated Electric Propulsion) system and electromagnetic catapults for launching fighters.

It owes its name to a Chinese province near Taiwan. Fujian means “happy settlement”.
