Aztlan

Aztlan is a Native american business name for a Mexican restaurant. Meaning “water place” in Nahuatl.
Derived from the Aztec terms “atl” (water) and “tlan” (place).
According to legend, the Aztecs were a nomadic people until they arrived to Aztlan, an island located in the Texcoco Lake.
NOTE: Some historians say that the Aztlan term means “place of herons”. According to this theory, this name is formed by the term “aztatl” (herons) and “tlan” (place).
